Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, full-time hair stylist with some management background to help lead our team and ensure exceptional customer service at our FS Cut & Color Salon.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience as a full-service hair stylist, possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and a commitment to creating a positive work environment. Looking for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to grow with us.

As part of a franchise system with over 45 years of excellence and 600+ salons, we are one of the country’s largest full-service hair care salons.

Hairstylist Responsibilities:
  • Provide full salon services to all clientele, including expert cutting, shampooing, styling, color, chemical services, and perms.
  • Maintain cleanliness of individual station and salon as a whole.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in cosmetology.
  • Ensure all appointments and walk-ins are handled in a timely manner.
  • Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients and taking payments.
  • Opening and closing duties
Manager Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive salon environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the salon.
  • Address customer inquiries/concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory management.
  • Prepare work schedules.
  • Train and mentor employees.
  • Take part in and encourage fellow stylists to enroll in free education provided by FS Cut & Color.

Qualifications:

A valid Nevada Cosmetology license is required
  • 3 years experience as a full-service hair stylist including expert cutting, styling, all color and chemical services, and perms.
  • Proficient in salon POS systems (Zenoti a plus), cash handling, and administrative tasks.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, merchandising techniques, & retail sales strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and positive person who inspires their team to be the best they can be.
